Founded in 1988 by Chris Vernia and then partner, Dave Bank, Double Image Sounds started as a hobby for it's owners.  Dave enlisted in the US Army while Chris continued his vision of owning his own entertainment company. 

 

Chris then took a DJ job in 1989 at Boppers Nightclub in Stamford Connecticut.  This is where he molded his craft by his teachers: Tim Callahan, Seth Benjamin and Rich Haug.  Soon, he was working 4 nights a week in 2 different Boppers nightclubs.  Traveling to New Haven on Sunday nights, Chris further enhanced his skills in front of the College Crowd.  He went on to work in Waterbury and Danbury Connecticut at newer Boppers clubs.  

 

In 1996, the Terrace Club was his next stop.  There he teamed up with Pete Pinto to do more corporate events, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and Weddings.

 

Realizing there was more to the industry, Chris opened his first office at 234 Main Street in Eastchester, NY in November of 1997.  Scott Horn from Boppers Nightclub joined him and they were off.

 

Every year, the numbers grew.  The amount of parties increased.  

 

Fast forward to today...Chris & Scott have taken Double Image Event Productions to new heights they always dreamed of.  They created a complete entertainment and event production company with an incredible staff of talented people.
